Thought you never got to fly a banshee in campaign, well if you're lucky you can!

During the double scarab encounter during the level "The Covenant" destroy the scarab on your left as quickly as you can with your hornet. Do this by just flying forward, shooting one of it's legs as you make your way to the back of the scarab. When your behind it shoot the cover of the core off (if you don't know ho to do this, just shoot your rockets at the blue +) When it's come off destory the power core (make sure your low enoguh when the cover is off so you can shoot a rocket as soon as it is off). As the scarab goes into meltdown fly away so you don't get hurt. Once the scarab has blown up, search the ground for a banshee. Be aware that it may be under some of the rubble of the Scarab. If your lucky you will find one. If your not lucky there won't be any.

Also note I did this on Heroic. I'm pretty sure the banshee is there because the brute inside the banshee dies from the explosion of the scarab, leaving the banshee unharmed.

First, you're going to need a Gravity Hammer.

Second, you must do something to flip a small vehicle over, like a Mongoose, Ghost or Banshee(you can also do another trick with a Banshee and a rocket launcher, but that's for later.) I suggest meleeing the vehicle with a melee weapon like a plasma sword or flipping it with a grenade. Now, jump on top of the capsized thing, and take out your hammer. Look down, and fire! Not only will you cause unnecessary carnage, you will be thrown into the air so high up, chances are you will die from the fall. It's a hell of a trick, but it's fun!

Now for the Double jump.

First, have someone jump onto your head(This is still possible in Halo 3) and jump. Now, after he jumps, you jump. This will give your friend a place to land when he hits the top of his jump, and now he can jump again, doubling the height of the leap! This is useful for reaching hard-to-reach places like corridors placed 10 meters up above your head, where you can't rech normally without a friend. Happy Hellraising
